Do you know what it is like to be a whirlybird?Do you know what it is like to be a whirlybird?

Drifting in helpless wind,

Blowing by the mocking hollyhocks,

Spiraling relentlessly dizzying.

Yet by strange providence lodging in delightful fertility:

Springing abundantly nourished,

Spreading tender basking shoots,

Growing greater firmness deeply.

But where are the mocking hollyhocks?

Crumbled in the shadow of the mighty maple,

Broken under heavy stride,

Scattered by ravaging winds.
